How To?

Sign up

First things first, sign up so you can interact with users and have full function of the App. Sign Up is found on the Login page under the blue “Login” Button. Signing up is completely free and only requires you to simply fill out your First name and last name, your email address, create a password, then read and agree with the BUY SELL TENDER terms and conditions.

If you are a service Man/Woman you will also select the “I also provide services” icon, which will prompt you to fill in the service/services you can lawfully provide, and your credit card details. Service Men/Women are only charged $5 if and when anEstimate is accepted.

If your profession requires you to be licensed to lawfully offer your services, it is a BuySellTender requirement to also fill in your license details prompted in the Sign Up page.

BUY

From the home page assuming already logged in;

  1. Select the BUY Icon, this will bring a list of Items for sale that have been listed, categorised from most recently listed.
  2. To search for a particular item simply type the name of item in the search bar and hit search, the products under that name will appear and you are free to browse.
  3. There is also a refine search option at the top of the screen, select the cog and enter a post code you would like to search and product category. This will pin point the exact product you are looking for to make a great deal.
 

Once an item of interest is found to purchase the product you simply message the user. This option is only available to users that are logged in.

SELL

From the home page assuming already logged in;

  1. Select the “SELL” Icon this will direct you to a new page and prompt you to “Sell New Item”.
  2. Select the “Sell New Item” Icon which will prompt you to select from a category that matches your item being sold then select “Next” at the bottom of the page. If you cannot find an appropriate category, simply select “Other” and then the “Next” button.
  3. Now it’s a simple as taking a picture, naming the item, selecting new or used, putting a price on your item writing any details about your item and selecting post.
  4. Your Item will appear at the top of the feed until another item is posted.
 

You can view your listed Jobs and products from the home page. At the bottom of the screen there is an Icon called “My Ads”. You will be notified with a response to your ad through the messages icon at the bottom of the home page. From here you will be able to establish contact with buyers/Service Men/Women and make your arrangements to sell your item or complete your job.

TENDER

This is for both the Service Men/Women and for those listing a job to be completed.

Listing a Job

For those Listing a Job to be completed;

  1. simply click the TENDER icon on the home page, this will take you to a new page and ask if you would like to ‘Find a Job’ (Service Men/Women select only), or List a Job.
  2. Select ‘List a Job’, this will prompt you to select the profession you need, ordered alphabetical order.
  3. From here simply take a photo of the job needing to be done, put a title on the job, select residential or commercial, enter a post code, “delivery days”(numerical value only) - when you need it completed by and a description then select the “Post” Icon at the bottom of the screen.
 

Now simply wait for Service Men/Women to provide you with an Estimate. All Estimates will be notified to you via your messages, accessed from the home page at the bottom of the screen. You will then have the opportunity to enquire further and look at individuals’ feedback and rating and message the Service Man/Woman. Once you have come to an agreement simply Accept Estimate. You will then be able to make further arrangements with the Service Man/Woman with phone details becoming available.

You can also access Estimates via “My Ads” Icon at the bottom of the home page.

Finding a Job (Service Men/Women)

For those that are Service Men/Women (Assuming already Signed Up)

  1. Select the TENDER icon on the home page this will take you to a new page and ask if you would like to “Find a job” (Service Men/Women select only), or List a Job.
  2. Select the “Find a Job” icon, it will then bring up a list of jobs ready to make an Estimate on related to the professional services you have selected and are lawfully able to provide.
  3. Select a job of interest and make an estimated quotation, this does not have to be your binding agreement but is up to you to make an agreement with the user that has listed the job, through messages. Take a good look at the pictures and description, type in an amount, write a message to the User, certify that you are licensed and qualified and submit.
  4. Wait for the user that has listed the job to respond via messages. You can also keep an eye out on pending Estimates through the “More” icon at the bottom right corner of the home screen. If your Estimate is accepted, you will be charged $5.
 

Change Password/Forgotten Password

Change Password (must already be logged in)

  1. Select “More” (appears a three horizontal dots) icon at bottom right of home screen which will open the Menu.
  2. Select “My Account” from Menu page, this will open Account Details Page.
  3. Select Settings, from here you will be prompted to enter a New Password.
 

Forgotten Password

This is simply rectified from the login page.

  1. Select “Forgot Password” Under blue login button
  2. Type your email for login
  3. Open emails and refresh, an email will be in your inbox with a new temporary password to login with.
 

Access Terms & Conditions

Terms and conditions can be accessed upon sign up, which will prompt a check box that you agree with the Terms and Conditions.

Access About Page

The About page can be accessed via the “More” button on the bottom right of the home page. This brings up the menu where the About page is located.

Contact Us

If there is any issues or problems with your account, please contact the Family at BUY SELL TENDER accessed via the “More” button on the bottom right of the home page which opens the “Menu”. Selecting the “Contact Us” from the menu will allow you to fill out a contact form. We will endeavour to respond as quickly as possible to have your enquiry addressed with urgency.

Update Payment Details

From time to time you may need to update your payment details. This is found from the “Menu” page accessed via the “More” button on the bottom right of the home page. From the menu select “Payment. Enter details as required and remember you will only be charged $5 for Estimates accepted.

Update Profile& Profile Picture

It is important that your profile picture is up to date and looking professional. Everyone wants to see who they are dealing with.

To update your profile picture, access the “Menu” Page via the “More” Button at the bottom right of the home screen. Select “My Account” this will bring up your account details and profile picture. At the top of the page there is a profile picture Icon, selecting this will bring up an option to add image from your gallery or take a photo now.

All other profile details can be changed via the edit button of the page, allowing you to change your name, email, phone number and Post code.

Changing Categories

A service Man/Woman can only update and change their service categories if they are Qualified, licensed (if applicable) and lawfully able to provide this service.

To change categories simply access the ‘Menu’ via the ‘More’ button at the bottom right of the home page, select ‘My Account’, then select the ‘Setting’ cog. At the bottom of this page select the category area, this will bring the category list up and enable you to add additional categories. You will then need to select the ‘Save’ button which will also prompt a disclaimer that you are“Qualified, licensed (if applicable) and lawfully able to provide these services”.

Feedback

Giving Feedback

This will be available to Users listing a Job, only after you “Mark the Job Complete”, This will prompt you to provide feedback and a star rating to the User. Remember to be fair and honest.

Viewing Feedback

Users providing a service will have the option to view feedback from the “Menu” Page accessed via the “More Icon on the bottom right of the home page.
